Cullen Finnerty, a former quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens and Denver Broncos, is missing after a fishing trip in Michigan over the weekend, according to Peter Wallner of MLive.com. Reported as missing on Sunday night, Finnerty's family said that he was scared and disoriented at the time of the disappearance, which may have been the result of an episode caused by multiple concussions suffered during his football career.

During his time as quarterback for the Grand Valley State Lakers, Finnerty led the team to three NCAA Division II national championships. Following his collegiate career, he was signed by the Ravens as an undrafted free agent and spent some time on the team’s practice squad before signing with the Broncos after his rookie season. He lasted fewer than three weeks with the team and was released in April 2008.
Finnerty is married with two children, according to Wallner, and has a business management degree from Grand Valley State. He concluded his collegiate career with a 51-4 record, making him the winningest quarterback in college football history.
