2013 NFL rookie salary pools set

The new Collective Bargaining Agreement continues to save owners money when it comes to signing draft picks as the rookie salary pools have been set.

Debby Wong-USA TODAY Sports

The 2013 NFL rookie salary pools are set and the Miami Dolphins get a league high $7.839 million, according to Shutdown Corner's Brian McIntyre.

Each team has a maximum amount of Year 1 salary cap dollars they can spend on their draft picks, as well as the minimum amount. Now that the 2013 NFL draft is over, teams will begin signing their picks. Thanks to the new collective bargaining agreement, long rookie holdouts are largely a thing of the past as many teams will hope to get some of their rookies signed during their rookie mini-camps.
