Tennessee Titans sign Chance Warmack to 4-year contract

The offensive lineman was the final first round draft pick to sign with his NFL franchise.

USA TODAY Sports

The Tennessee Titans have finally reached a contract agreement with Chance Warmack, according to ESPN NFL analyst Adam Schefter.

The first-round draft choice had missed the first five days of Titans training camp and was the final player to sign from the 2013 NFL Draft. Warmack's absence early in camp was clearly frustrating his new head coach Mike Munchak.

“It doesn’t seem very complicated to me. It’s just business is business, and they can’t agree,” said Munchak on Sunday at Titans practice.

Warmack was taken at No. 10 overall in the April draft to help bolster the Titans offensive line in front of quarterback Jake Locker and running back Chris Johnson. The line was reworked this offseason with the high selection of Warmack, an Alabama product, and the free agent addition of Andy Levitre. With tackles like Michael Roos and David Stewart in place alongside the new guards, the line looks as good as it has in years, at least on paper.

Rob Turner and Chris Spencer are other guards in camp expected to compete for playing time alongside Warmack.
