Seneca Wallace has drawn the interest of the San Francisco 49ers, according to Matt Maiocco. As the team examines the options on the open market, the veteran quarterback could be in town for a visit soon enough.
49ers rumors: Seneca Wallace expected to visit San Francisco
The veteran quarterback could head back to the West Coast if the Niners offer a contract.

The 49ers might not be too enamored with the full array of choices already in-house with the team. They already traded for Colt McCoy earlier this offseason after Alex Smith was dealt to the Kansas City Chiefs. McCoy is expected to be the primary backup for Colin Kaepernick.
Other options for the third quarterback slot include Scott Tolzien and rookie B.J. Daniels. Interestingly enough, Maiocco notes that each quarterback behind Kaepernick received equal snaps this week in practice. This comes after a solid amount of playing time for all three against the Chiefs.
Wallace was recently released by the New Orleans Saints on Monday. The 33-year-old played five full seasons with the Seattle Seahawks and also spent a couple of years with the Cleveland Browns.
