The New York Giants have taken fullback Henry Hynoski off the physical unable to perform list, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

New York has activated its fullback in time for the third preseason game.

Hynoski had been on the sidelines since May after he injured his MCL and suffered a slight fracture in the Giants first offseason training activity, per the team’s official website.
As a fullback, Hynoski will be looked upon to pave the way for second-year running back David Wilson. Wilson is starting for the first time after Ahmad Bradshaw left via free agency to join the Indianapolis Colts. Wilson was the first round pick of New York out of Virginia Tech.
Hynoski can also catch the ball occasionally, a rare skill out of these mobile linemen. In his two-year career including the postseason, Hynoski has 23 catches for 133 yards. Last season, Hynoski played in all 16 games for the Giants, who missed the playoffs after winning the Super Bowl in Hynoski's rookie year.
