The Chicago Bears are heading out west to take on the Oakland Raiders on Friday. It is Week 3 of the preseason, meaning that starters should see extended playing time. Bears head coach Marc Trestman has already confirmed that the first-stringers will play at least until halftime. The Raiders haven't confirmed anything, but with so many holes to fill, expect the team to push players in contention for starting roles.
Bears vs. Raiders: How to watch online, TV schedule, radio and more
The Bears and Raiders will kick off at O.co Coliseum on Friday, both with plenty still to prove during the preseason.

The Bears are coming off a tighter-than-expected win over the San Diego Chargers. After leading 20-0 in the first half, the Bears gave ground in the second half to escape with a 33-28 victory. The offense will look to have more consistent success moving the ball downfield, while the defense and special teams try to maintain their opportunistic ways after forcing four turnovers last week.
The Raiders will be keeping a watchful eye on the left tackle position, where Alex Barron will be filling in for the injured Jared Veldheer. Barron is a former first-round pick turned journeyman who has reportedly played well during Raiders training camp.
Ex-St. Louis Rams general manager Bill Devaney, who drafted Barron in 2005, criticized the left tackle this week, saying, "he does not like anything about the game except getting paid." Barron may now be the most important component of the Raiders' offensive success this season.
