Chargers vs. Cardinals 2013: How to watch online, TV schedule, radio and more

Arizona is hoping Carson Palmer can deliver the consistency that has defined the Philip Rivers era in San Diego.

When the San Diego Chargers and Arizona Cardinals face off in Saturday's preseason matchup, the tales of two very different quarterback situations will clash in University of Phoenix Stadium. Philip Rivers has been rock-steady for the Chargers since taking over the starting job in 2006, racking up four Pro Bowls and emerging as one of the league's premier quarterbacks in that span. The Cardinals, on the other hand, will be hoping that the recently-acquired Carson Palmer can return consistency to a position that has wildly inconsistent since the departure of Kurt Warner in 2010.

The Chargers have lost both of their first two preseason games, losing to the Seattle Seahawks 31-10 in Week 1 before coming up short against the Chicago Bears in a 33-28 defeat. The Cardinals, meanwhile, are undefeated in preseason play. They blanked the Green Bay Packers 17-0 two weeks ago, then dropped the Dallas Cowboys 12-7 in Week 2.
