Kevin Kolb injury: Bills QB has concussion-like symptoms, will not return

The Bills are down to one quarterback on the roster after losing Kevin Kolb to an apparent head injury on Saturday.

The Buffalo Bills are down to one quarterback after Kevin Kolb left Saturday's game against the Washington Redskins with concussion-like symptoms, the team announced on Twitter. Kolb has been ruled out for a return, leaving Jeff Tuel as the only quarterback available for the team for the remainder of the game.

Kolb, who turned 29 on Saturday, completed two of his four passes on Saturday for 16 yards before exiting the game. He completed 13-of-21 passing attempts for 111 yards and an interception in last week's game against the Minnesota Vikings.

The Bills were already down a quarterback after first-round pick E.J. Manuel was ruled out for the remainder of the preseason after undergoing a minor procedure on his knee last week. Tuel, an undrafted rookie, completed 21-of-26 passes for 236 yards with two touchdowns in the first two preseason games.

Kolb was signed by the Bills in March to a two-year contract worth $13 million after a two-year stint with the Arizona Cardinals.
