NFL preseason 2013 odds: Lines for Sunday’s games
Two preseason games will take place on Saturday. We have matchup previews and betting lines for both of them.

Preseason football is hard to project, but if any round of exhibition games is easy to predict, it would be the third week of the preseason. With teams using the game as a final tuneup before the regular season, starting lineups typically stay in the game longer than usual, which makes gambling on the games less of a crapshoot.

Saints (+2½) at Texans
With seven-time Pro Bowl quarterback, Drew Brees, under center, the Saints offense will always be considered a dangerous one. Through two preseason games, he has completed 21-of-28 passes for 267 yards and a touchdown, helping the Saints to a 2-0 record to start the preseason. The question, though, will be how the Saints defense that finished last in 2012 manages to hold the Texans offense in check.
Leading the way for the Texans offense will be Matt Schaub, who has completed 13-of-16 passes through two games with a touchdown and an interception. The Texans will again be without their starting running back, though, as Arian Foster is still trying to recover from a disc irritation in his back.
Vikings (+2½) at 49ers
The Minnesota Vikings have not yet won a preseason game and they haven't been helped much by their quarterback, Christian Ponder. The third-year quarterback has completed just 6 of 14 passes in the preseason with an interception through two games.
Colin Kaepernick hasn't had a lot of playing time so far in the preseason for the 49ers, throwing only six passes through two games with five completions. Most of the snaps at quarterback have instead gone to Scott Tolzien, although Kaepernick will likely see more snaps on Sunday against the Vikings.
