NFL roster cuts 2013: Cardinals released 2 more players Tuesday

The Cardinals made the majority of their roster moves Sunday, but had to release two additional players to reach Tuesday’s limit of 75 players.

The Arizona Cardinals made the majority of their decisions on Sunday, but needed to make a couple of extra moves to get to the NFL's 75-man roster limit before the Tuesday deadline.

The Cardinals released safety Javon Harris and tight end Mickey Shuler to take their roster down to the 74 players, then added tight end Richard Quinn to move back up to the 75-man limit. Quinn was on the Cincinnati Bengals roster last season, but never appeared in a game.

The Cardinals cut kicker Dan Carpenter on Sunday and placed outside linebacker Dan Giordano on the physically unable to perform list while releasing nine other players, including quarterback Caleb TerBush, wide receivers Nick Edwards and Jarett Dillard, guard Deveric Gallington, defensive tackle Jonathan Mathis, inside linebacker Korey Jones, defensive end Cordian Hagans, cornerback Ronnie Yell and offensive tackle Joe Caprioglio.

The team will have to release 22 more players before Saturday’s deadline for the 53-man regular season roster.
