The NFL's preseason schedule officially gets underway Sunday night with the annual Hall of Fame Game, which this year pits the Miami Dolphins against the Dallas Cowboys. Starters for both sides aren't likely to play more than a couple of series, but the game is nonetheless a welcome end to a long offseason.
2013 NFL Hall of Fame Game streaming: How to watch Dolphins vs. Cowboys online, TV schedule, radio and more
It may only be preseason, but NFL football is just around the corner. Here’s what you need to know about watching Sunday’s kickoff event.
The Dolphins are coming off a 7-9 campaign and hope that the addition of Mike Wallace, as well as some improvement from Ryan Tannehill, will help them get back into contention for a postseason berth. Miami has not made it to the playoffs since 2008.
The Cowboys ended 2012 8-8, missing out on the postseason for the third consecutive season. It's been a contentious offseason for Dallas, who made the controversial decision to re-sign quarterback Tony Romo to a longterm deal and went through Jerry Jones-induced drama over head coach Jason Garrett's play-calling privileges.
