The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be without Carl Nicks along the offensive line when they face the New Orleans Saints in their Week 2 match-up, according to Adam Schefter.
Carl Nicks injury: Buccaneers guard will sit vs. Saints
The Bucs still have yet to see Nicks along the line in 2013 after dealing with an infection.

Nicks is currently listed as questionable as he continues to deal with an MRSA infection that also sidelined kicker Lawrence Tynes for the season. He returned to practice for the first time since the preseason earlier this week, raising hopes that he might start against the Saints.
Nicks has not played so far in the 2013 season, and he’s been injury prone since coming over from New Orleans as a major free agent signing. He went on Injured Reserve last season after just seven games. Interestingly enough, Nicks played every game over four full seasons for New Orleans before signing his contract with the Bucs.
Nicks has been a Pro Bowl guard in years past and would help bolster an offensive front that needs to create room for Doug Martin. Now Gabe Carimi is likely to take his spot in the starting unit.
