Browns vs. Ravens 2013, NFL injury report: Ray Rice leaves game with hip injury

Both the Ravens and Browns suffered injuries to key players in their Week 2 game.

Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice left Sunday's 14-6 win over the Cleveland Browns with a hip injury. Rice suffered the injury on a non-contact play, but John Harbaugh seemed confident after the game that Rice would be OK. Bernard Pierce stepped in and performed well in Rice's absence, rushing for more than 50 yards and a touchdown.

The Ravens also lost Chykie Brown and Arthur Brown, both of whom suffered pectoral injuries. Chris Canty also left the game with a groin injury. The Ravens had already lost Jacoby Jones and Dennis Pitta, so the injuries are starting to pile up for Baltimore.

Cleveland didn’t escape Sunday’s game without injury, either. Quarterback Brandon Weeden left the game with a thumb injury and his status is up in the air going forward. He had mostly struggled before leaving the game.
