The Cleveland Browns signed veteran running back Willis McGahee in the wake of trading former first-round draft pick Trent Richardson, yet will likely go with a running back by committee on Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings.

The Browns will turn to a trio of running backs on Sunday following the trade of Trent Richardson.

Per Nate Ulrich of the Beacon Journal, coach Rob Chudzinski said the team will use the trio of McGahee, Chris Ogbonnaya and Bobby Rainey against the Vikings and would not state who would actually start the game.
McGahee is recovering from knee surgery after suffering a torn MCL and broken leg last November while playing for the Denver Broncos. The 32-year old running back had enjoyed a career resurgence the past two seasons in Denver, amassing 1,199 yards rushing and four touchdowns in 2011 and averaging 4.4 yards per carry before his injury in 2012.
The Browns traded Richardson, the No. 3 overall pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, this past week to the Indianapolis Colts in exchange for a 2014 first-round pick. Richardson was easily the most dangerous offensive player for Cleveland since being drafted, rushing for 11 touchdowns last season. He will play for the Colts this Sunday.
