The Buffalo Bills are likely going to have both C.J. Spiller and Fred Jackson at their disposal on Thursday night against the Cleveland Browns.
C.J. Spiller, Fred Jackson expected to play for Bills on Thursday
The running back tandem appears to be in tact heading into a short week for the Bills.

Both suffered lower-body injuries versus the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, but were able to play through the pain and help Buffalo upend the defending Super Bowl champs at Ralph Wilson Stadium. All told, Buffalo gashed the Ravens on the ground, rushing for 207 total yards.
According to the Bills official website, Jackson sprained his MCL.
“I sprained my MCL again, but it’s not as significant,” said Jackson in reference to the knee injury that forced him to miss two games last season. “Something that we can manage and I expect to play. I’m sore, but I’ll be all right, ready to go.”
Also per the Bills site, Spiller explained his leaving the game on Sunday as being due to soreness in his ankle. However, the Clemson product and former first-round pick believes he will also be playing on Thursday night.
“It’s just soreness in the ankle,” said Spiller. “I’ll see how I feel in the morning and do as much training as I can and get ready for Thursday even though it’s a short week. It’s going to be tough but I’m going to do everything on my end to be in a position to be ready to play.”
Head coach Doug Marrone said after the game he’s confident in Spiller being available this week, despite only three days between games.
