The Cleveland Browns host the Miami Dolphins on Sunday to kick off the season for both teams, and the inactives are officially in. As both rosters are set, it’s clear that both teams aren’t quite at the level of strength they were hoping for heading into the season
NFL inactives, Dolphins vs. Browns 2013: Mingo, Rubin out for Cleveland
The Browns are down a couple of defensive linemen, while the Dolphins are thin in the secondary for Sunday’s opener.

The Browns are dealing with injuries among several defensive starters. First round choice Barkevious Mingo will be inactive for today's game. It was expected after dealing with a bruised lung for much of the preseason. In addition, defensive lineman Ahtyba Rubin will be out for today's contest against the Dolphins. Together they leave the Browns' defensive front a bit thin.
As for the Dolphins, they're also thin on defense as both Will Davis and Jamar Taylor will sit out today's game. That leaves the secondary in an interesting positon, so expect Rob Chudzinki to focus on exposing the Dolphins pass defense is Brandon Weeden is up to it.
