NFL inactive list, Week 1: Cardinals vs. Rams

Here is the complete inactive list for the Cardinals and Rams in Week 1 of the NFL season.

The Arizona Cardinals have made running back Ryan Williams inactive for their Week 1 clash with the St. Louis Rams. Williams struggled with injury in the preseason and wasn't able to stand out among a crowded backfield. Tight end Rob Housler is also out with an ankle injury.

The Rams enter this game with a relatively healthy roster, as there aren't too many big names on their inactive list. Safety Darian Stewart and rookie offensive lineman Barrett Jones might be the most notable names sitting out. The Rams managed to avoid any major injuries in the preseason and get to start the regular season with a clean bill of health.

Here is the complete list of inactive players:

Arizona Cardinals

RB Ryan Williams, TE Rob Housler, CB Jamell Fleming, LB Alex Okafor, NT Alameda Ta’amu, OT Bobby Massie, OG Earl Watford.

St. Louis Rams

S Darian Stewart, CB Quinton Pointer, LB Jonathan Stewart, TE Cory Harkey, OL Barrett Jones, OL Brandon Washington, DE Gerald Rivers.
