Oakland Raiders quarterback Terrelle Pryor was the story of Sunday's game, despite a Colts victory. The third-year quarterback put the team on his back and almost managed the upset. Ultimately Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts were too much, though, winning 21-17.

The Raiders needed a lift when running back Darren McFadden had trouble moving the ball. Help came from an unexpected place as Pryor was happy to oblige. He picked up the slack in Oakland's ground game, running for 112 yards to set the franchise record for a QB.
Pryor was impressive as a passer, too, completing 19-of-29 passes for 217 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions. The rushing was the highlight, but fans should be encouraged by how he spread around the football in the passing game, as the quarterback found seven different receivers.
Luck and the Colts threw everything they had at the Raiders, but their offense couldn't separate until late in the 4th quarter. The second-year quarterback was sensational, but that feels like old hat. Luck amassed 178 yards passing, completing 78 percent of his passes and adding two touchdowns. Free agent acquisition Ahmad Bradshaw was ineffective running the ball, which will be something to watch moving forward -- he finished with 26 yards on seven carries.
Fantasy studs and duds
It’s unlikely people had Terrelle Pyror on their team, but he might be worth a pickup after finishing Week 1 with 329 all purpose yards and one touchdown.
The ever-reliable Reggie Wayne had another strong game adding 96 yards receiving and one touchdown.
Injury report
Colts' tight end Dwayne Allen left the game in the first half with a hip injury. There is no update to his status at this time.
Did they cover?
The Colts were 11-point favorites, according to OddsShark. The Raiders kept the game surprisingly close, and their four-point loss meant Indianapolis failed to cover the spread.
