The best Danny Woodhead highlight video you’ll watch this year

Music by Aaron Tippin, lyrics by Thomas Jefferson.

SB Nation 2014 NFL Playoff Coverage

Lets guess one thing straight: Danny Woodhead is once again the biggest Probowl snub of 2013. But I suspect ol' Lunchpail Dan doesn't give a sweet hoot about a free trip to Hawaii to watch Trent Williams forget his manners and bleed all over a nightclub like even his sickle-cell wants the spotlight.

Well fortunately for you, me, and the Newsboy himself there are good God-fearing people in the world like Clay W. You see, Clay read my year-end awards show and took the time out’ve his own day to put together a Danny Woodhead 2013 highlite reel in black&white set to the tune of noted @PFTCommenter follower Aaron Tippins song “Youve got to stand for Something (Are you’ll fall for Anything)”- a song about a blue-collar type worker guy who wasnt the biggest but allways stood tall when it came to his believes- Just like Woodhead the Warrior. I hope you ll enjoy it as much as I do:

Now Danny didn't like trouble, but if it came along
Everyone that knew him knew which side that he'd be on
He never was a hero, or this county's shinin' light
But you could always find him standing up
For what he thought was right

He'd say you've got to stand for something or you'll fall for anything
You've got to be your own man not a puppet on a string
Never compromise what's right and uphold your family name
You've got to stand for something or you'll fall for anything

Now we might have been better off or owned a bigger house
If Danny had done more givin' in or a little more backing down
But we always had plenty just living his advice
Whatever you do today you'll have to sleep with tonight

He'd say you've got to stand for something or you'll fall for anything
You've got to be your own man not a puppet on a string
Never compromise what's right and uphold your family name
You've got to stand for something or you'll fall for anything

Now I know that things are different than they were in Danny's days
But I still believe what makes a man really hasn't changed

You've got to stand for something or you'll fall for anything
You've got to be your own man not a puppet on a string
Never compromise what's right and uphold your family name
You've got to stand for something or you'll fall for anything

You've got to stand for something or you'll fall for anything
