Super Bowl Media Day 2014: Richard Sherman addresses the press

He didn’t have much to say.

SB Nation 2014 NFL Playoff Coverage

Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman was possibly the most anticipated interview subject at Media Day. Press members around the globe swarmed the man who broke the Internet last week.

Sherman's actual interview was far less memorable than the postgame rant that made him a household name, however. He reiterated that he regrets calling Michael Crabtree "mediocre," and said that Muhammad Ali was his childhood idol.

Also, because this is Media Day, someone asked Sherman about Justin Bieber, because this is a very important issue.

There was also this thing.

As for the actual game, Sherman confirmed that he will play on the left side throughout the Super Bowl and won't be shadowing Denver Broncos receiver Demaryius Thomas.

In the end, Sherman was upstaged by his own teammate. Running back Marshawn Lynch left his podium after just six minutes, one day after suggesting that he would skip the event altogether. Deion Sanders tracked him down on NFL Network and got some memorable soundbites.

Sherman, for his part, thinks he could teach Lynch a thing or two about talking to the media.
