Tennesee Titans head coach Mike Munchak will likely keep his job for another season. Team president Tommy Smith released a statement after that report saying that the team has yet to make a decision. Still, most believe the team will keep Munchak due to the fact that he's still with the team. If the Titans wanted a new head coach, they'd most likely have already moved on and started their search.
The Houston Texans are open to trading the No. 1 pick in the 2014 NFL Draft. Owner Bob McNair said as much, in hopes of landing a quarterback with an impact defensive player. It's unclear which way the Texans will go at this point, but it's indisputable that they need a quarterback. Matt Schaub is basically done and Case Keenum isn't likely to go anywhere. Teddy Bridgewater of Louisville is the favorite for the No. 1 pick.
The Associated Press announced its 2013 All-Pro team on Friday. Peyton Manning was the unanimous choice for the top quarterback of the year, which is surprising to no one. He was voted in on all 50 ballots. New Orleans Saints tight end Jimmy Graham and Indianapolis Colts defensive end Robert Mathis were near-unanimous selections as well, drawing 49 votes apiece.
Final injury reports released
There are some noteworthy names on the Friday injury reports for the wild card round. Ryan Mathews of the San Diego Chargers is likely to play, but Eric Fisher of the Kansas City Chiefs was ruled out. Chiefs outside linebacker Tamba Hali was listed as doubtful. For the San Francisco 49ers, Carlos Rogers and Eric Wright, both defensive backs, were listed as questionable.
