NFL injury report, Colts vs. Patriots: LaRon Landry back practicing for the Colts

LaRon Landry looks set to play against the Patriots after suffering a concussion against the Chiefs.

The Colts and Patriots both are in decent shape with just three days left until their Divisional Round match-up on Saturday. Both teams practiced on Wednesday and the Colts got an important defender back on the field.

LaRon Landry participated fully in practice on Wednesday while defensive coordinator Greg Manusky told reporters that the Colts safety would be ready to go this weekend. Landry was forced out of the Colts' win over Kansas City with a concussion from taking a knee to the head while making a tackle. While the safety still faces some more test ahead of the weekend, he appears to be on track to play.

Defensive linesman Aubrayo Franklin was given an extra day of rest, but is still expected to play. Receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey sat out of practice with hamstring problem and his status remains unclear.

The return this week of Alfonzo Dennard and Logan Mankins to practice is a good sign for the Patriots as neither player has been trained since the end of the regular season. While both players' participation was limited on Wednesday, the common belief seems to be that both players should be available this weekend.

Aaron Dobson, New England's rookie wide receiver, missed practice for the second straight day with a foot injury. Unless Dobson's foot makes a miraculous recovery, it's looking less and less likely that he'll be ready to go on Saturday.
