NFL picks and predictions, Patriots vs. Bills 2014: Can New England continue to turn things around?
New England was reeling just a few short weeks ago, but coming off the heels of a big win, can it pass an in-division road test? The experts weigh in.

Patriots vs. Bills
Tom Brady and the New England Patriots will square off against the Buffalo Bills on the road Sunday at Ralph Wilson Stadium in a battle for first place in the AFC East. It's safe to say the Bills are the surprise team in the division after defeating the Detroit Lions on the road last week and amassing a 3-2 record.
Because of Buffalo's resurgence this season and New England's relative regression, the oddsmakers see this contest as close. That's despite the fact that the Bills are in the middle of a major shakeup after benching EJ Manuel and turning to Kyle Orton at quarterback.
Kyle Orton.
That’s indicative of the general direction Buffalo was headed in with two losses prior to the win against Detroit, but according to OddsShark, New England is just a 3-point favorite, while the over/under is set at 45 points.
As for the expert picks, Yahoo Sports’ panel unanimously expects the Bills to fall at home. CBS Sports has the Patriots winning by a 7-1 margin. ESPN confirms the Pats’ advantage by a 9-4 margin.
The home team here at SB Nation is a little more spilt, scored 4-3 in favor of New England.
