Tennessee Titans quarterback Jake Locker is inactive for Sunday's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Locker was officially listed as questionable on the official report with a thumb injury. He missed practice on Friday prior to the injury report coming out, and reports surfaced suggesting that Charlie Whitehurst was likely to get the start in Locker's absence.
Jake Locker injury: Titans QB out vs. Jaguars
Jack Locker will not play against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday.

Locker is no stranger to injury and missing games. His career has been derailed by injuries numerous times, with some really solid performances in-between. He has the potential to be a very good quarterback in the NFL, but he simply can’t stay healthy. Then again, he hasn’t been playing particularly well this season. He’s completed just 58.0 percent of his passes for 764 yards with four touchdowns and four interceptions.
Whitehurst has completed just 56.8 percent of his passes for 371 yards with three touchdowns and an interception. Whitehurst did not look good in Week 5 against the Cleveland Browns, despite throwing two touchdown passes. The Titans ultimately lost to the Browns when Whitehurst threw short on third down on three consecutive drives.
If Whitehurst gets off to a poor start, then we could see rookie Zach Mettenberger, a player with starting potential down the line, but that's all speculation.
