This week's Thursday Night Football game was an exciting offensive matchup between the San Diego Chargers and Denver Broncos, but there are plenty of opportunities for such games on Sunday as well. With two teams on bye weeks (the San Francisco 49ers and New York Giants), there will be 13 games played on Sunday, and plenty of them are worth your time.
NFL schedule: Panthers vs. Seahawks, Cardinals vs. Eagles headline Week 8
The Arizona Cardinals and Philadelphia Eagles are both 5-1 and combine for one of Week 8’s most exciting games.

Typically the highest-profile games feature winning teams in a heated battle for division leads, but Sunday feature a notable contest between two teams that have struggled thus far. The Seattle Seahawks (3-3) are taking on the Carolina Panthers (3-3-1) in what could be a surprising offensive battle. Their matchup a season ago featured the top two defenses in the NFL, but this year both are struggling on that side of the ball.
As far as divisional relevance is concerned in the early games, the Cincinnati Bengals (3-2-1) will take on the Baltimore Ravens (5-2). Baltimore is in charge of the AFC North, while the Bengals find themselves in second place, just above the Pittsburgh Steelers (4-3) and Cleveland Browns (3-3). It's a close race for the division, so every game counts.
In the afternoon, the best game of the day is the Philadelphia Eagles (5-1) visiting the Arizona Cardinals (5-1). The Cardinals are one of the more surprising teams of the season, while the Eagles were expected to improve, but not necessarily by this much. Whatever the case, barring another tie, one of them will have six wins after Sunday.
The featured Sunday Night Football matchup is potentially solid, though neither the Green Bay Packers (5-2) nor the New Orleans Saints (2-4) have been as good offensively as past seasons. Green Bay has definitely picked it up in recent weeks though, and they'll be expected to unseat the Saints at home.
