The Chicago Bears locker room drama began with an eye roll and ended with Lamarr Houston standing up for Brandon Marshall, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media. Rapoport is reporting that Houston came to Marshall’s aide after a member of the team rolled his eyes while the receiver was speaking.
Lamarr Houston stood up for Brandon Marshall in Bears locker room
An eye roll apparently started the flareup in the Bears locker room last week.

The Bears’ disappointing loss to the Miami Dolphins last Sunday was amplified by reports of a contentious environment in the Chicago locker room after the game. Marshall was one of the players at the center of the drama, emerging as a vocal presence in the flareup.
Some reports indicated that Marshall might have drawn the ire of his teammates by criticizing other players, such as quarterback Jay Cutler and kicker Robbie Gould. Marshall had some support though, as Houston reportedly defended the receiver’s impassioned pleas.
Houston apparently spoke up after another member of the Bears rolled his eyes at Marshall, which might have been what started the whole dispute:
What happened inside #Bears locker room? I’m told Lamarr Houston stood up for Brandon Marshall after a teammate rolled his eyes at the WR

Marshall stated post-game that the Bears’ 3-4 record was unacceptable and repeated the sentiment multiple times. Cutler stated that Marshall is an emotional guy and that his response after Sunday’s game wasn’t taken offensively, but rather as a passionate expression of his desire to win.
The Bears have lost three of their last four games and will attempt to snap the streak against the New England Patriots on Sunday.
