Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson does not appear hampered by his ankle injury. Patterson bruised his left ankle in Minnesota's Week 8 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and was in a walking boot after the game. He sustained the injury on the final kickoff return of the game, but remained in to help Minnesota to victory.
Cordarrelle Patterson looking healthy, but isn’t a strong fantasy option
Cordarrelle Patterson’s ankle injury seems about healed. We break down the fantasy implications.

Patterson is already out of the walking boot, which was only used as a precaution. He’s going to be able to practice all week and should be a full participant in those practices as well. In other words, there’s little doubt that he’s going to play against Washington in Week 9.
Fantasy Impact: That said, Patterson hasn’t been great this season and is not much of a fantasy option at this point. He has huge big-play potential and can have a big game at any point, but thus far he’s only had two good games this season. In Week 1, he managed to put up 102 yards rushing, and against the Buccaneers in the last game, he caught six of the 12 passes thrown his way for 86 yards. He has just two touchdowns on the season. He needs to show something before we recommend starting him.
