The St. Louis Rams (1-2), coming off the bye, travel to Philadelphia this Sunday to take on the Eagles (3-1), who are coming off their first loss of the season. The Rams are going to be treading water for the rest of the season. Decimated by injuries - most notably to quarterback Sam Bradford - St. Louis has seen a promising season turn into another lost endeavor. But, as they say, this is why they play the games.

The Rams are in Philadelphia Sunday afternoon to take on an Eagles team looking to shake off its first loss of the season.

Austin Davis led the Rams to a road win in Week 2 against Tampa Bay, and the team managed to establish a 21-point lead against the Cowboys in Week 3. However, St. Louis couldn’t maintain that comfortable cushion and ultimately allowed Dallas to return home with a win.
The Rams may be without their quarterback, but they're certainly not helpless. And the more they can rely on running back Zac Stacy (he has 35 carries for 138 yards and a score over his last two games), the better off they'll be, especially since Philadelphia's defense ranks 26th in rushing yards per game.
The Eagles are coming off a particularly frustrating loss to the 49ers in which they put up 21 points, but it was all thanks to special teams and defense. Unable to get anything going on offense, and unable to put together any of the second-half magic they've become known for, Philadelphia suffered its first loss of the season in bizarre fashion.
LeSean McCoy was bottled up completely in San Francisco to the tune of 17 yards on ten carries, a baffling output for one of the NFL's best. The Rams' rushing defense is even worse, so look for McCoy to get back on track at home this week.
