Colts vs. Texans 2014 picks and predictions: Who will get blown out this Thursday?

Andrew Luck and the Colts travel to Houston to take on the surprising Texans, as both teams try to not be latest Thursday night blowout victim.

Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports

The Indianapolis Colts are a bona fide contender, and they're being treated as such as they take on the Houston Texans on Thursday night. Having outscored opponents 105-47 in their last three games, the Colts are looking for their fourth straight victory after starting the season 0-2.

Andrew Luck is putting together an eye-popping season statistically, already throwing for 1,617 yards and 14 touchdowns. Ahmad Bradshaw has been a pleasant surprise for Indianapolis and has easily established himself as the Colts' main running back, putting together 250 rushing yards to go with 151 receiving yards and four touchdowns.

After starting out 2-0, the Texans have lost two of their last three games, including a close 20-17 loss in Dallas on Sunday. Ryan Fitzpatrick is throwing a lot of interceptions (he already has six with just five touchdowns), but running back Arian Foster is averaging 101 yards a game, and the Colts have been giving up more than 100 rushing yards a game.

These Thursday night games have been nothing but blowouts so far this season. The only question is figuring out who will be on the damaging end of it each week.

If these expert picks are any indication, it could be the Texans this Thursday. SB Nation's panel of experts is going with Indianapolis with five of our seven analysts picking the 2.5-point road favorites to get it done. The experts at CBS Sports are going heavy with the Colts, as seven of eight analysts over there are taking Indianapolis. Yahoo! experts are also all in the Colts.
