Two division winners from a year ago will square off on Monday Night Football when the Philadelphia Eagles host the Carolina Panthers. The Eagles are flying high at 6-2 and atop the NFC East, despite an injury to starting quarterback Nick Foles, whose future in Philly is now in question. A broken collarbone will cost him six to eight weeks, but Mark Sanchez filled in nicely when Foles was injured in Week 9 against the Houston Texans.

The Eagles and Panthers square off in primetime with Philly flying high, while Carolina is fading fast.
Sanchez came in and threw for 202 yards and two scores in a 31-21 win at Houston and he’ll now be the starting QB going forward. He’ll make his first start since 2012 when the fading Panthers come to town, winners of just one of their past seven games.
Breaking Madden
Carolina has fallen off a cliff since starting the year 2-0, but is still in the thick of the race for the NFC South at 3-5-1, just behind the New Orleans Saints for the division lead. Cam Newton has tried to carry the offense while throwing for 1,794 yards and eight touchdowns in addition to 257 rushing yards and two more scores.
However, the defense has let him down, allowing 26.2 points per game, the eighth-most in the NFL. That’s bad news with the Eagles’ fourth-ranked scoring offense on deck.
