Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson skipped a scheduled disciplinary hearing with the NFL on Friday, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. The hearing was supposed to discuss a "disciplinary decision on Peterson's past and future," according to the report.
Adrian Peterson skipped NFL disciplinary hearing
The running back was scheduled for a disciplinary hearing on Friday but was a no-show.

In other words, the possibility of further punishment is still on the table. Whatever the case, Peterson has a conference call set for 2 p.m. ET on Monday, the subject of which is a grievance he filed with the league due to the fact that he is still on the commissioner’s exempt list. The NFL Players Association has said that the NFL isn’t living up to its word in taking Peterson off of said list after his legal situation was settled.
Peterson plead no contest in the case involving him disciplining his 4-year-old son with a wood switch.
It’s unclear where the two sides go from here. The report states the meeting was originally scheduled last Tuesday, but the NFLPA was unavailable. League officials said that they were “unwilling to postpone the hearing beyond this week,” given that Peterson and the NFLPA have been trying to push things through quickly themselves.

The league also claims that it has not received enough materials relating to the incident in question, while Peterson’s camp is adamant they are unable to provide the requested documents under Texas state law, as noted in the report.
