Two of the NFL's top running backs are expected to miss time in Week 12, as both Arian Foster and Reggie Bush are likely to sit out on Sunday.
Arian Foster, Reggie Bush not expected to play Sunday
Arian Foster and Reggie Bush are both expected to be out of action in Week 12.

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, both Foster and Bush will test out their respective injuries during pregame warmups; however, both are considered long shots to play. Foster missed practice time during the week due to a groin injury suffered in Week 9, while Bush practiced on a limited basis all week due to an ankle injury that he aggravated in Week 10. Both were listed as questionable for Week 12.
Despite sitting out in Week 11 after Houston's bye, Foster still enters the week third in the NFL in total rushing yards and is managing a career-best 5.1 yards per carry with seven touchdowns. His replacement, Alfred Blue, hasn't been nearly as successful, although he was the workhorse in a career-best game last week with 156 rushing yards on 36 attempts.
The Lions are finding more luck replacing their star running back, as the absence of Bush has elevated the play of Joique Bell. In a Week 11 loss to the Arizona Cardinals, Bell averaged just over 6 yards per carry on 14 rushing attempts and has 442 yards rushing on the season.
The Texans will face the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 12, while the Lions will play the New England Patriots.
