The Indianapolis Colts will be without tight end Dwayne Allen for their game against the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 12. He suffered an ankle injury in a Week 11 game against the New England Patriots.
Dwayne Allen out vs. Jaguars with ankle injury
The Colts will have to rely on Coby Fleener to handle the duties at tight end Sunday.

Initially ruled a high ankle sprain, Allen said the injury wasn’t severe and he had a chance at playing in Week 12. However, he missed the entire week of practice and was ruled out Friday, which would seem to cast his return for Week 13 in doubt.
Allen, 24, has emerged as a reliable redzone threat for Andrew Luck and leads the Colts with seven touchdown receptions in nine games played. The 2012 third-round pick caught just four touchdowns in his first two seasons with the team, although he played in just one game in 2013 as he suffered a season-ending hip injury in Week 1.
With Allen out, the Colts will turn to another third-year tight end, Coby Fleener, to handle the duties at the position. Fleener had a career-best 144 yards receiving against the Patriots in Week 11 and has 439 yards this year.
