Washington wide receiver DeSean Jackson has been carted off the field Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts. Jackson went down with a knee injury and was on the field for several minutes, clearly in pain. He had left the game earlier with an injury to his other leg, but returned to action. Brian McNally of 106.7 The Fan reports that it's a fibula contusion for Jackson, and that his return is questionable.

Of course, you don’t often see players return to action after leaving the field on the cart. He had an Indianapolis defensive back mostly beat when he was tripped up from behind, coming down hard. It looked like his knee was in immediate pain before he even hit the ground, for what it’s worth.
Jackson was having a big game before his injury. He caught five passes for 84 yards and a touchdown before exiting the game. Washington trails Indianapolis 42-24 in the fourth quarter, so getting him back likely wouldn’t change the result of the game anyway. Jackson is having a productive season, with 42 receptions for 858 yards and four touchdowns coming into this game.
