The NFL has announced its 2015 London schedule, putting three more games in Wembley Stadium. For the first time, the slate of games will include a divisional matchup when the Miami Dolphins take on the New York Jets. The other games are the Buffalo Bills against the Jacksonville Jaguars, and Detroit Lions against the Kansas City Chiefs.
2015 NFL schedule for London finalized
The NFL is traveling across the pond again, and this time with rivalries in tow.

The dates and times for all three games were finalized Thursday. All three will be 9:30 a.m. ET kickoffs (meaning, 2:30 p.m. or 1:30 p.m. kickoffs in London). Miami and New York will meet in Week 4 on Oct. 4, with Jacksonville and meeting in Week 7 on Oct. 25 and Detroit and Kansas City meeting the following week on Nov. 1.
The league tested a 9:30 a.m. kickoff this past season when the Falcons and Lions faced each other at Wembley Stadium in Week 8. The game was well received.
The NFL has been talking about potential expansion to London sometime in the future. The league has been putting money into Wembley to make it more feasible as an NFL setting on a permanent basis. Not only does the NFL want a team in London, the British government is also on board, recently stating the city would do everything it could to help bring a team over.
Another wrinkle for NFL teams is the recent vote that says a team that hosts a Super Bowl must also host a game in England over the following five years.
The NFL began playing regular-season games in London in 2007 with the New York Giants beating the Dolphins in the inaugural matchup. Prior to playing in England, the league had experimented with games in Mexico during the 2005 season.
