Washington quarterback Colt McCoy has left the game against the New York Giants with a neck injury and has been replaced by Robert Griffin III. The team has announced that McCoy is questionable to return.

Robert Griffin III is back under center in Washington after McCoy aggravated his neck injury.

It would seem it’s an aggravation of the neck injury McCoy suffered last week against St. Louis. McCoy, who’s status was up in the air all week, headed into the locker room during the first quarter.
McCoy was cleared to play by team doctors on Friday, ending a week of speculation as to who would be under center for Washington. Jay Gruden said early in the week that McCoy would start as long as he’s healthy, once again sparking a new round of rumors that the coach does not think RGIII is a fit for his offense. It has been rumored that Gruden hopes to move on from Griffin during the offseason.
McCoy went 4-of-7 for 39 yards before exiting.
