‘Thursday Night Football’ live stream: How to watch Titans vs. Jaguars 2014 online

Jacksonville and Tennessee have not given fans much to cheer about this season, but a win would be a sweet holiday gift.

Sometimes, it is actually better to lose than to win. In the case of the Jacksonville Jaguars and Tennessee Titans, that is most certainly the case, even if both would love to get another win before the season ends. With Jacksonville and Tennessee each at 2-12, draft position is about the only thing to be excited about when these teams take the field on Thursday night.

The Jaguars are a young group under second-year head coach Gus Bradley. Jacksonville went 4-12 last year and have shown regression in 2014, although some of that can be attributed to playing a rookie starting quarterback in Blake Bortles. Bortles, the third overall pick last year out of Central Florida, has been shaky. Behind a horrific offensive line which has allowed a league-high 62 sacks, Bortles has thrown 17 interceptions, pacing the NFL. Of course, he does not have much to work with either, especially with leading rusher Denard Robinson out for the season due to a foot injury.

Tennessee has endured problems under center as well. The Titans have started three different quarterbacks in Charlie Whitehurst, Jake Locker and Zach Mettenberger. All three have been underwhelming, with the lone offensive bright spot being tight end Delanie Walker and his team-high 793 receiving yards.

In their previous meeting this season, the Titans won 16-14, holding on with a blocked field goal as time expired. It is Tennessee's only win since shocking the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 1 at Arrowhead Stadium, 26-10. If the Titans win again, they will assure Jacksonville of having a higher draft position come April.
