The Detroit Lions will host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Ford Field on Sunday with the hopes of proving the experts right. There seems to be no one outside of Central Florida who believes the Bucs can pull off a road upset against the league's No. 1 scoring defense.

Detroit has the top-ranked defense while the Bucs have struggled to put up points. This one could get ugly at Ford Field.
Can you blame them? Tampa Bay ranks 28th in points per game with 18.3 and carries a paltry rushing attack that comes in at No. 29 in the league with 83.2 yards per game. Those numbers won’t get it done against a front seven that has dominated in the trenches and stifled opponents to the tune of allowing just 65.9 yards per game on the ground.
The visitors will have their hands full, and without knowing whether Doug Martin, Bobby Rainey or Charles Sims is the long-term answer at running back, things don't figure to get a whole lot better in the near future.
OddsShark has the Lions as 10.5-point favorites at Ford Field for those reasons. As far as the experts go, CBS Sports scores it 8-0 in Detroit's favor. The analysts at ESPN feel the same way, giving the Lions a 13-0 edge. The two-man crew at Yahoo Sports puts a stamp on the Bucs' drubbing and says they don't have a chance.
