Some franchises have all the good fortune, while others can never seem to buy a break. This week's matchup between the Indianapolis Colts and Cleveland Browns is the perfect example of each. Indianapolis went straight from Peyton Manning to Andrew Luck, while Cleveland has enjoyed the golden arms of Tim Couch, Charlie Frye, Brady Quinn and another Hall-of-Fame quarterback, Brandon Weeden.
Colts vs. Browns 2014 picks and predictions: Indianapolis expected to earn win
Indianapolis could clinch the AFC South with a win on Sunday and some help, something Cleveland wants no part of.
However, it seems the skies may be brightening for the Browns. At 7-5, Cleveland is poised for its first winning season since the Romeo Crennel era and could make the playoffs with a strong finish. The Browns are technically last in the AFC North but a win would likely vault them up the standings, perhaps into a postseason seeding.
Indianapolis has all but wrapped up the AFC South, something it could officially do by winning Sunday coupled with a Houston Texans loss. The Colts have a high-powered offense, leading the league in passing yards and scoring. Luck has been his typical self, throwing for a league-best 4,011 yards with 34 touchdowns.

The 13 men at ESPN are not in total agreement, with both Keyshawn Johnson and Chris Mortensen siding with the host Browns to earn a key victory. However, it's another clean sweep at CBS Sports with all eight predictions favoring Indianapolis.
Here at SB Nation, Matt Ufford proves peer pressure can’t stop him from following his heart. Ufford went with Cleveland to pull the upset while all the others believe the Colts will roll.
