Bills vs. Broncos 2014 live stream: Time, TV schedule and how to watch online

Denver could clinch a playoff spot this weekend against a Bills team fighting to stay alive.

Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports

After beating the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday Night Football last week, the Denver Broncos have put themselves in prime position for a fourth consecutive AFC West title. This Sunday, Denver plays host to the Buffalo Bills with both teams entertaining thoughts of the playoffs. The Broncos can actually clinch a spot in the postseason, albeit with a healthy amount of help.

Should the Broncos beat the Bills, they would also need the Ravens, Browns, Chiefs and Steelers to lose. When you look at who those teams are playing, it wouldn't be impossible that they all fall. In fact, all of them are underdogs headed into their respective contests. With wins the next two weeks, Denver would clinch the AFC West and likely earn, at a minimum, a first-round bye in the playoffs.

Buffalo on the other hand is simply trying to stay alive. At 7-5, the Bills are part of the logjam toward the bottom of the AFC playoff picture, tied with the Dolphins, Chiefs, Browns, Steelers and Ravens for the final Wildcard spot. Buffalo technically sits eighth behind Miami and Kansas City due to tiebreakers, but potentially could jump both with a victory in Denver. The Bills have a brutal schedule going forward, hosting the Green Bay Packers before taking on the Raiders and Patriots on the road.

The matchup to watch in this game will be Denver's passing attack against Buffalo's defensive line. The Bills lead the league with 48 sacks, paced by Mario Williams and Marcell Dareus who have 12 and 10, respectively. Peyton Manning is known for getting the ball out quickly, something he will need to continue for self preservation. The other factor up front will be Denver's ability to block in the run game. The Broncos have become a smash-mouth offense the past two weeks, rolling up 415 rushing yards over their last two games.
