Former Alabama Crimson Tide offensive tackle Cyrus Kouandjio isn't making a strong impression at the combine and has failed multiple physicals, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL.com. Kouandjio's issues stem from a failed surgery that has resulted in an arthritic knee, according to the report.
Alabama OT Cyrus Kouandjio has failed multiple physicals, per report
Cyrus Kouandjio has reportedly failed multiple physicals from teams at the NFL Scouting Combine.

It's a huge issue, and incredibly disappointing as Kouandjio was considered one of the top offensive linemen entering the 2014 NFL Draft. SB Nation's own Matthew Fairburn had Kouandjio ranked as the No. 3 offensive tackle coming out this year, behind only Greg Robinson of Auburn and Jake Matthews of Texas A&M.
Kouandjio struggled as well during Saturday’s workouts at the combine. He was among the first group to work out and only managed 21 reps at 225 pounds on the bench press, and put up a 40-yard dash of 5.59 seconds. His workouts were not indicative of a first-round draft pick, though most experts had him pegged in the top half of said first round.
It’s likely he’ll end up drafted anyway, but he could easily find himself falling into the second round or even later. He does have some time before the draft and if there’s something that can be done to fix things, he should be able to get started on it.
