Jeremy Maclin is planning on sticking around Philadelphia for another year. The wide receiver has agreed to terms on a one-year deal with the Eagles, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Jeremy Maclin re-signing with the Eagles headlined a busy Friday in NFL free agency.
Maclin’s 2013 season was over before it even started. He tore his right ACL in late July and landed on injured reserve before the preseason schedule began. One of the biggest concerns was the fact the injury occurred in the same knee Maclin injured in college.
The injury was enough to force Maclin into a one-year “prove it” contract. However, the fact he suffered it so early in the season bodes well for the receiver. He underwent surgery in early August and is expected to be healthy in time for offseason workouts.
It seems somewhat surprising that the former first-round pick decided to sign a one-year deal with the Eagles without even testing the free agent market. Several teams are in dire need of a starting wideout, including the New York Jets and Kansas City Chiefs.
However, if Maclin believed he didn't have a chance at a multi-year deal, it makes sense to return to a familiar offense without a learning curve. He would also be hard-pressed to land with a better quarterback than Nick Foles, who had a breakout season after taking over as the Eagles' starter midway through 2013.
The Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks are going to look a bit different next season.
The Seahawks announced that they have cut both defensive lineman Red Bryant and wide receiver Sidney Rice. Bryant's role on Seattle's defensive line was diminishing, and his cap hit was $8.5 million
The Cardinals released linebacker Jasper Brinkley a year after bringing him in on a free agent contract last offseason. He started three games before Daryl Washington took his place in the lineup.
Two years ago, the Bears signed cornerback Kelvin Hayden to help improve the secondary. He did that in a productive 2012 season, but a torn hamstring caused him to miss all of 2013. Chicago could use some help in the secondary, and if Hayden is healthy he should be a nice option for them to turn to next year.
Khalif Barnes has now signed his sixth contract with the Oakland Raiders. Barnes will be in his 10th year in the NFL and has become one of the mainstays on Oakland's offensive line.
