NFL roundup: Rob Chudzinski hired by Colts, Jimmy Graham decision will impact Saints’ entire roster

The Indianapolis Colts hired Rob Chudzinski on Saturday as a special assistant to the head coach. This means he'll work closely with Chuck Pagano, with whom Chudzinski has had a long professional relationship in the past. They worked together at the University of Miami for five years, and were together again in 2004. Chudzinski was fired earlier in the offseason after just one season as the head coach of the Cleveland Browns.

New Orleans Saints head coach Sean Payton wants to get tight end Jimmy Graham re-signed, but he cautions that the decision will impact the entire roster, as noted by CBS Sports. Payton said that everyone wants to get Graham signed, but that tough decisions have to be made with regards to the salary cap and that folks need to understand there's a budget at work. Either way, Graham will be with New Orleans next season, as the franchise tag will be the last resort.

Seattle Seahawks K.J. Wright is particularly confident in his team. He said that he thinks the Seahawks would beat the Denver Broncos "90 times out of 100," saying that they "might've got lucky those other 10 times," as noted by ESPN. The Seahawks did dominate the Broncos from start to finish in the Super Bowl, but to think the most productive offense in the NFL would have come up short 90 times of out 100 is pretty significant.

Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman says that wide receiver Percy Harvin makes the Seahawks a better team. "Without Harvin, we were just biding time," Sherman said, as noted by NFL.com. After a disappointing 2013 campaign in which Harvin didn't play in a single complete game, he was incredibly effective in the Super Bowl. Seattle has a lot of money committed to him, and his performance, which helped the team win the biggest game of the year, likely did a lot for the team's confidence in him going forward. It's clear he'll be a huge part of the Seahawks' offense next season.
