NFL free agent roundup: Jaguars re-sign Chad Henne; Colts and Vontae Davis not close on deal
The clock is ticking for teams to re-sign their free agents.

On Friday, the Jaguars agreed to an incentive-laden deal with Chad Henne. The deal is worth $1.5 million in guaranteed money, according to Alex Marvez of Fox Sports. Some have speculated that re-signing Henne means the Jaguars won't be drafting a quarterback in May, but the cheap contract would suggest this doesn't change their plans too much.
Alfie Crow of Big Cat Country still hasn’t ruled out the Jaguars drafting a quarterback in the first round, and he called Henne a bridge quarterback:
It’s a deal that makes perfect sense for a bridge/backup quarterback, which is exactly what Chad Henne is. If the Jaguars do decide to draft a quarterback at No. 3, No. 39 overall or whatever, they can sit him if they desire and then release Henne or keep him on as a backup after paying the $3M roster bonus.
Colts, Vontae Davis not close on contract
Vontae Davis has been one of the most important additions to the Indianapolis Colts over the last few seasons. Now, he's a free agent and could command a large contract on the open market. However, according to the Indianapolis Star, the two sides are still not close on a contract with a deadline looming. Indianapolis still has time to get a deal done, but Davis is one of the top free agents available.
Still, Josh Wilson of Stampede Blue isn’t ready to panic just yet.
It’s not time to freak out. It still remains abundantly clear that the Colts want to get a deal done and Vontae Davis and his camp do as well. With both sides wanting to get it done, it should happen, but it may take time. It’s not time to freak out yet, but at the same time if it keeps taking a while it will seem odd that the Colts are making all of these other moves while their number one priority - Vontae Davis - remains unsigned.
Jermichael Finley drawing interest from multiple teams

While free agent tight end Jermichael Finley has not been medically cleared, he is already drawing interest from multiple teams. The Chiefs, Jets, Giants, Seahawks and Steelers have expressed interest in the talented tight end, according to Ben Volin of the Boston Globe. Meanwhile, the folks over at ACME Packing Company, SB Nation's Packers blog, have already started looking at how to find Finley's replacement:
One could posit that the Packers prefer a more versatile tight end moving forward, a role that Graham fits. Accordingly, the team could move on from the more one-dimensional Finley and the oft-injured Quarless. Most likely, Graham is at a minimum a replacement for Quarless and a backup plan at starter should Finley depart in free agency.
Eugene Monroe wants $10 million per year
When the Ravens traded multiple draft picks for Eugene Monroe during the 2013 season, it appeared Baltimore was ready to make him a part of its long-term plan. Instead, the two sides could be parting ways. Monroe is likely to test free agency and see what's out there, according to Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun. He wants a contract worth $10 million per year, and the Ravens are unwilling to go that high.
Jason Butt of Baltimore Beat Down says the Ravens' best option is to make Michael Oher their next priority.
Focus the time, money and energy that was spent on Monroe and put the attention on Michael Oher. Oher can then either move to left tackle or stick at right tackle. If he sticks on the right side, a competition between Kelechi Osemele and a potential draft pick can battle it out at left tackle.
