Kyle Rudolph seems to hold a high opinion of himself. The Vikings tight end, who is currently recovering from a foot injury, called himself the best tight end in the NFL, according to the St. Paul Pioneer Press.

Rudolph thinks he has the same ability as the likes of Jimmy Graham and Rob Gronkowski, especially because he brings something to the table as a blocker. More importantly, Rudolph said he is interested in extending his contract with the Vikings, saying he wants to stay in the Twin Cities.

Titans re-sign Chris Spencer
According to Jim Wyatt, the Titans have re-signed offensive lineman Chris Spencer. Spencer was once considered to be a last-resort option for Tennessee, but his versatility will be appreciated on the interior of the offensive line. He can play either guard or center but only got one start for the Titans in 2013.
Saints sign CFL safety Marcus Ball
The New Orleans Saints have signed former CFL safety Marcus Ball, according to the team's official site. The Saints already signed Jairus Byrd this offseason and drafted Kenny Vaccaro in the first round a year ago, but Ball definitely will provide some depth. Over at SB Nation's Saints blog, Canal Street Chronicles, they are pleased with the added depth on what is most likely a low-risk deal.
Here’s a little more about the relatively unknown new Saints player:
Ball, 6-1, 209, played two seasons with the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League after finishing his college career at the University of Memphis. In two seasons with Toronto, he recorded 142 tackles, seven sacks, four interceptions, two returned for touchdowns and three fumble recoveries. In 2013, Ball posted 69 stops, four sacks and three interceptions for the Argonauts.

Panthers guard Travelle Wharton leaning toward retirement
Carolina Panthers free agent guard Travelle Wharton is leaning toward retirement, according to Joe Person of the Charlotte Observer. Wharton has been waiting around in free agency and hasn’t gotten much interest from around the league. He’s another starter from the Panthers’ 2013 offensive line who won’t be back with the team in 2014.
