NFL Draft 2014: TV schedule and online coverage for the 2nd and 3rd rounds

The NFL Draft resumes on Friday with the second and third rounds on the docket. NFL Network and ESPN will once again provide pick-to-pick television coverage.

SB Nation 2014 NFL Draft

Although many of the most-notable names are already off the board, the NFL Draft is a long way from finished. The first round was in the spotlight on Thursday, but Friday will feature 68 more selections with the second and third rounds on the schedule.

The first-round coverage drew record television ratings, likely thanks to the interest stars like Jadeveon Clowney, Johnny Manziel and others create. Although many of the players selected in the second and third rounds won't have the same name recognition, there will still be plenty of interest in Day 2 of the draft as teams continue to add pieces to their hopeful Super Bowl puzzles. The draft boards are far from devoid of notable names too with Louis Nix III, Derek Carr and Marqise Lee just a few of the top players still available, according to Dan Kadar.

Teams will have less time to make a selection than they did in the first round, meaning picks and trades will happen much faster. There were five trades made during the first round of the draft and that number figures to be even higher on Friday with teams maneuvering up and down to grab a player they like or stockpile picks. Barring a trade, Houston will begin the Day 2 festivities with the No. 33 pick. Washington and Seattle will also likely join the fray for the first time after neither selected in the first round.

ESPN and NFL Network will once again provide television coverage of the round. The second round is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. ET with television coverage set to start 30 minutes earlier at 6:30 p.m. Viewers with access to WatchESPN will be able to watch the round online or through mobile devices. NFL.com and the NFL Mobile app from Verizon will also provide coverage.
