The Arizona Cardinals took advantage of a key Chargers turnover to win Monday night, and the New York Giants and their new-look offense sputtered in a blowout loss to the Detroit Lions.
How to watch Cardinals vs. Giants 2014: Time, TV schedule, radio and online streaming
The Giants’ offense is a mess, and the Cardinals will try to go 2-0 Sunday after a come-from-behind win against the Chargers Monday night.

The Cardinals appear to have a particularly stingy defense and an offense that has plenty of weapons, including wide receiver Michael Floyd, who is going to have plenty of big games if teams continue to focus on Larry Fitzgerald.
Eli Manning struggled in the Giants' first game, but so did the rest of the offense. There is, of course, time to fix everything, but the miscommunication and timing issues have been persistent for a while now.

Nuts and Bolts
Fitzgerald was held to just one catch in the Cardinals' win over the Chargers, which is a great sign for Arizona. It just means the Cardinals have more than enough weapons to carry the load. Floyd, in particular, enjoyed a five-catch, 119-yard night. Running back Andre Ellington played through a foot injury to get 18 total touches and 80 total yards.
At some point, the Giants' offense has to figure things out. Wide receiver Victor Cruz managed just two catches on six targets for 24 yards Monday. If New York is going to be competitive in Sunday's game -- or any game the rest of the season -- that will have to change.
