The Baltimore Ravens have released a statement concerning the ESPN report that accused the team of deliberately misleading the public regarding the events around Ray Rice's assault and the investigation into that assault.
Ravens statement says ESPN report has ‘numerous errors’
An ESPN Outside the Lines report was released on Friday that contradicted the stories of Ravens executives and NFL personnel.

“The ESPN.com ‘Outside the Lines’ article contains numerous errors, inaccuracies, false assumptions and, perhaps, misunderstandings. The Ravens will address all of these next week in Baltimore after our trip to Cleveland for Sunday’s game against the Browns.”
Earlier on Friday, an ESPN Outside The Lines report said that the Ravens and NFL both knew about the contents of a surveillance video of Rice's assault on his then-fiancee Janay Palmer. The in-depth report contradicted numerous statements from both league and team leaders.
Specifically, the report mentions Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti, general manager Ozzie Newsome, and team president Dick Cass among the team’s executives who urged the NFL to go soft on Rice regarding any suspension. The report also says those same team executives pushed the prosecutor’s office for a pre-trial intervention that would keep the video from being made public.
The Ravens also announced that they would address the report in detail next week.
