Oakland Raiders owner Mark Davis is considering firing head coach Dennis Allen and replacing him with offensive coordinator Greg Olson, per a report by CBS Sports NFL Insider Jason La Canfora.
Dennis Allen’s game in London could be last as Raiders coach, per report
According to a report by CBS Sports, Dennis Allen could be coaching his last Raiders game this week.

The report states that Davis is displeased with his team’s 0-3 start to the 2014 season, and that GM Reggie McKenzie’s job could also be on the line. As for Olson, his handling of the team’s young quarterbacks in recent years including 2014 second-round pick Derek Carr has made him a rising star in the organization. As an offensive-minded coach, Olson provides a departure from Allen, a former defensive coordinator. Oakland also employs Tony Sparano, the ex-head coach of the Miami Dolphins, who has been considered.
Oakland hired Allen in 2012 to replace Hue Jackson, who served as the team’s head coach for just one season (2011). Allen’s Raiders finished 4-12 in each of his first two seasons at the helm. Prior to taking the job in Oakland, he spent one year as the Broncos defensive coordinator.
The Raiders play the Miami Dolphin’s in London’s Wembly Stadium Sunday, following by a bye week. The two-week break between games could provide the perfect opportunity for Oakland to switch head coaches.
