NFL results and scores: 49ers outlast Eagles, Teddy Bridgewater shines in debut

We tracked all of Sunday’s results.

After a disappointing early slate, the NFL's evening games during Week 4 lived up to their billing. Highlighting the day were the San Francisco 49ers, who finally secured their first win at Levi's Stadium by downing the previously undefeated Philadelphia Eagles, 26-21. The Eagles scored touchdowns on a blocked punt, interceptions return and punt return, and still wasn't enough to overcome an awful day on offense.

Sunday was also a great day for rookie debuts. Teddy Bridgewater led the Minnesota Vikings to 41 points against the Atlanta Falcons in a win, going 19-for-30 for 317 yards and scoring on a 13-yard run in the second quarter. Blake Bortles wasn't good enough to make the Jacksonville Jaguars competitive against the San Diego Chargers, but he gave the fanbase plenty of hope with an efficient performance -- 29-for-37, 253 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions.

The most anticipated games of the early Week 4 slate weren't quite as exciting. The Green Bay Packers trounced the Chicago Bears behind a big day from Aaron Rodgers. At the same time, the Baltimore Ravens laid an even bigger beatdown on the Carolina Panthers, spurred by an appropriate eff-you performance by former Carolina wide receiver Steve Smith.

Elsewhere, the Miami Dolphins and Indianapolis Colts cruised to easy wins. For the Dolphins, the win was particularly sweet. Perhaps they can stave off another week of turmoil, after reports that players were questioning the decision making of the coaching staff last week.

Below is Sunday’s complete list of results.

Green Bay Packers 38, Chicago Bears 17 (final)
